N2 - In a representative sample from Lima-Peru (N = 634), this study analyzed the influence of political ideology on conventional political deliberation and online political deliberation. Also, it was analyzed the effect produced by these two types of political deliberation on the levels of conventional political participation and online political participation. As ideological measures, there were used scales of right-wing authoritarianism (RWA) and justification of inequality. Using structural equations models, this article proposed that a higher level of authoritarianism and a higher tendency to justify inequality influence negatively on political deliberation. Also, higher levels of political deliberation have a positive effect on both types of political participation.
